Power Capital raises 323M to accelerate Irelands renewable energy growth

Dublin-based solar Independent Power Producer (IPP), Power Capital, has secured a financing facility of up to €323 million, led byEiffel Investment Group. The funding will support the company’s growing pipeline of solar and battery energy storage projects across Ireland.

The financing supports Power Capital’s recent partnership with Infranity and Omnes to boost its growth soon.
The first tranche of €168 million will be used to refinance existing debt facilities from 2023 and 2024 and provide flexible capital for new development. The facility can scale up to €323 million and has been structured as a bond listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange.

Power Capital currently has 230 MW of operational capacity, with another 330 MW under construction for completion in early 2026. The company also has a development pipeline of more than 5 GW in solar PV and battery storage systems.
The company has been successful in all RESS auctions and maintains long-term power purchase agreements with global technology leaders, including Microsoft and Google.
