Rate of change (ROC) refers to how quickly price changes over time, measuring the acceleration or deceleration of price and not the magnitude. While this indicator uses a simple concept and calculation, it is often used as a momentum oscillator to identify trends and overbought and oversold conditions. In this session, we will explain the ROC indicator, and demonstrate how to apply and interpret it in the NinjaTrader chart and Market Analyzer.
